GAME Says Goodbye To It's Final Demographic

Final Demographic? What is this? Long words? Here?

We're just trying to avoid saying the word "chav" as it's a dirty word. It's worse than saying something like "Eric Stoltz" or when that guy at work (who pretends he's not gay) goes round calling USB dongles "Butt Plugs".

As you probably know by now, GAME have thrown in the towel on their 10 day scheme in selected stores only. Since we left working at the store we've noticed a huge decline in the company. Focus switching to selling own brand items, less focus on customer service, more focus on selling stuff. Which is fair enough, they want to survive. It just seems that they don't care about who they're selling to anymore.
Unfortunately ripping out GameCube's from most of their stores was the final straw for us. If we were still working there we would have left instantly. They could simply have stopped the PSP bays from taking up most of the floor space.

So what to do now? Well we don't know really - you could just rent stuff and copy it, or go and shop at Gamestation instead. They're like GAME and Electronics Boutique were at the time before EB bought GAME out.

The glory days.
