Singer Comments On Superman Returns

As many readers will no doubt know, I am really badly looking forward to the next Superman movie (due this summer) more than anything else in the world.


In a sad confession, I do watch the trailer on a daily basis, since the day it was released last year, and every time I feel the goosebumps.


I've just read this from IGN where Bryan Singer comments on his work:

"The time felt right to re-experience this character," Singer said. "My goal is to address and celebrate in some way people's collective memory of the character Superman and how he's evolved from 1938 to now. Some of it will look familiar physically, emotionally. Some of it will be new."

That's wonderful. To hear something like that is really invigorating to know that he's using the music, he's using the look and feel and it's going to feel like a proper follow on to the first couple of films. I mean just look at these pictures as an example!


I can not wait. I can't. In fact I'm going to go and watch that HD trailer again!
